We would like to always be a challenger.
Since the Industrial Revolution, we have pursued richness within the system of production and consumption, as well as waste, and have developed rapidly. This way of doing things has now reached its limits, destroying ecosystems and threatening our own lives.
As stated in the goals of the SDGs, how can we create a sustainable society?
From generating electricity using fossil fuels to using natural energy such as solar and wind power. From gasoline cars to electric and fuel cell cars. Even petrol-based plastic products are being replaced with natural materials such as biomass and biodegradable plastics. Various fields are progressing towards a sustainable society.
We are indeed in a time of innovation, which can be called a "new industrial revolution."
At times when society changes dramatically, conventional wisdom is greatly altered, and we are also asked to change our way of thinking. Our company keep thinking about how we can adapt to the needs of the times as a corporation, and contribute to a sustainable society.
Furthermore, such a major change brings big risks and great opportunities.
